The museum is a registered charity and is run entirely on voluntary donations. All the officers of the museum are unpaid volunteers who are keen to preserve the memory of Robert Owen and increase awareness of how his ideas are still important today. All the money we receive is used to preserve or enhance the collection and promote knowledge of Robert Owen's life and works.

If you prefer, you can send a cheque or set up a standing order by completing the form here and sending it to us by email or by post. However you make your donation, if you are a UK taxpayer, we can recover from HM Revenue and Customs an additional 28p for every £1 you donate. To do this, please complete and send us the simple gift aid form.
